These boxes have received plenty of abuse, but still work just fine except for the hardware, which has come loose in places several times. As the other reviewer noted, the screws holding the locking hardware are tiny and shallow, and will pull out, stripping the holes when they do. I just used contact cement to reinforce the grip, and it works fine. Other than that issue, these pochades are great workhorses, very easy to adjust for personal tastes, and so pretty when new, you'll feel sorry getting paint on them at first.
