This hall tree arrived in two packages and was packaged quite well. The mirror on top was intact and all the pieces were defect free. The drawers in the base have nice hinges. Assembling the base was simply cumbersome due to the size but the instructions were simple enough to understand and follow. The top of the hall tree is slightly trickier: connecting the top and bottom together with the backing will require two people unless one wants to be frustrated.
